Life Comes At You Fast

Day 141 (Written Tuesday May 1) ~Have you seen the Allstate Insurance commercials where a person or family is going about their daily business when BLAM!, some trouble befalls them? The tagline is, “Life comes at you fast, that’s why there’s Allstate.” I love those commercials, but I don’t like living them. Our gameplan for this final week in Pulaski was supposed to go like this: Monday eat with friends, Tuesday load outside furniture/stuff from shed in the trailer, Wednesday clean house, Thursday pick up moving truck and load it, Friday begin our new life in Georgia. That was the plan, this is the reality. Monday Jade is taken to Rapid Care, Jade is sent to ER, Jade is admitted to the hospital, Jade spends next few days in the hospital. Tuesday Reese wrecks his truck and is taken to the doctor. I have no idea what the rest of this week holds, but I hope it involves Jade going home, me loading the trailer and getting moved to Georgia by Friday.
