Y.E.S.

36, Day 75 (Written Saturday February 25) ~ 745 and 39. Those two numbers have made my weekend wonderful. 745 is the number in attendance at the Youth Enrichment Seminar at the Forrest Park Church of Christ in Valdosta, Georgia and 39 is the number of people who responded by rededicating their lives to Christ or by being baptized. Young people from half a dozen different states converged on Valdosta for a weekend of spiritual focus. I had the best of both worlds, I got to preach twice and I got to listen to four sermons. I was with my family, old friends, I met new friends, my parents came to visit, we ate good food and had fun. Was this a needed and appreciated weekend? YES!
